Independent AL-YASSIN exam based on ILCOR consensus as reflected in the AHA and ERC resuscitation guidelines, general first aid practice, and NASC SG4:22 for a casualty at height. Only points the main guidelines agree on are tested. It is not issued, approved or endorsed by NASC, CISRS, HSE, OSHA, Saudi Aramco or any body, and it does not replace any training, card or client approval your site requires. This is a knowledge exam only. It is not a BLS or CPR course or card, it does not certify you to give CPR, and it is not from AHA, ERC, the Saudi Red Crescent, SCFHS or any body. Take a hands-on BLS course from an approved provider. Questions in English; optional Arabic translation under each question.

Sample questions

Three questions from the bank, with the answer and the reference. The real paper has 30.

Q1A scaffolder has collapsed in a substation. A damaged cable is still touching his leg and the panel is live. What do you do first?
  1. Keep clear and get the power isolated before anyone touches him
  2. Grab his coverall collar and drag him away from the cable quickly
  3. Start chest compressions where he lies to save time
  4. Throw water on the panel to stop the electric current

Answer: Keep clear and get the power isolated before anyone touches him Rescuer safety comes first: touching a casualty still in contact with live equipment can make you a second casualty. Dragging him by the clothes is the common trap. general first aid practice. Verify against the latest edition.
