Scaffold inspection checklists
One checklist for each scaffold type: the 16 general checks every scaffold needs, plus the checks for that type. Print it for the clipboard, send it on WhatsApp, or tick it in the free field app with photos and a tag.
Pick the scaffold type
Every list starts with the checks for that type, then the 16 general checks.
How to use a checklist
- Pick the scaffold type and open its checklist on your phone, or print it.
- Inspect before first use, after any alteration, after bad weather, and at the interval your project sets (7 days is common).
- Walk the whole scaffold: foundations, structure, platforms, access, then the checks for the type.
- Any “No” means the scaffold is not handed over: red tag it, fix it, then inspect again.
- Record the tag number, who inspected, the date and when the next inspection is due.
What these checklists are, and are not
An independent field aid made by AL-YASSIN from TG20:21 (tube and fitting), TG30 (system scaffolds), SG35-style inspection practice, BS EN 12811-1 and the Saudi Aramco Construction Safety Manual. They do not replace the scaffold design, the compliance sheet or the inspection your project requires, and they are not endorsed by NASC, BSI, OSHA or Saudi Aramco. Verify against the latest edition of each document.
