Five findings

  1. 01

About 1 in 10 finished attempts passed

  2. 02

Supervisor I is the hardest to pass

154 finished attempts, 6% passed, average score 46%.

  3. 03

The most-missed rule: clearance from power lines

The question missed most often (28 times) is the minimum clearance of 3 m from insulated power lines of 300 V to 50 kV, from Saudi Aramco CSM II-2 §2.5.9 B and Table 2.2 as used in the exam bank. Verify against the latest edition.

  4. 04

The weakest topic: access, ladders and egress

The topic with the lowest average score is access, ladders and egress, at 45%.

  5. 05

Half of those who start, finish

453 exams were started and 238 were finished (53%). The exam is one timed 50-minute sitting.

Method and limits

Data come from the free AL-YASSIN online exams on alyassinscaffold.com and refresh from the exam database every 30 minutes. A finished attempt is one submitted for marking; one person can make several attempts. Test accounts and test devices are left out, and no names or contact details are shown. Takers choose to sit the exams, so they are not a random sample of the workforce. The Saudi Aramco practice exams follow the topics of the Saudi Aramco scaffold certificates under GI 8.001; they are not Saudi Aramco exams and these are not Saudi Aramco figures. Exams with fewer than 20 finished attempts are shown but should not be read as rates. Dated monthly editions stay fixed: all reports.
