Who we are
AL-YASSIN Scaffold Consulting™ ("AL-YASSIN", "we") publishes the AL-YASSIN Scaffold Tools app and is responsible for the personal data it collects. Contact: sales@alyassinscaffold.com · Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
What we collect
- Your profile, entered at sign-up: name, company, email, mobile number (optional), role, city or site, whether you opted in to updates, and the date you agreed to this policy.
- Everything you save in the app: inspection records (tag number, location, scaffold type, dates, inspector name, result, restriction, remarks and checklist answers), the tag register, your take-off sheet, your cost-of-waiting figures, and quote requests. Each record is sent to us as soon as your phone has signal.
- Drawings and photos you attach to a quote request (for example PDF, DWG, DXF or image files). Large photos are resized on your phone before upload.
- A random app ID created on your phone to keep your records together. It is not your phone's hardware identifier.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or advertising ID. The app has no ads and no analytics or tracking tools.
Why we use it
- To run the app and back up your records.
- To reply to your quote requests and contact you about them.
- To send updates and offers, only if you opted in. You can switch this off at any time in About → My profile → Edit.
- To improve our services, using totals rather than individual records.
We process your data on the basis of the consent you give at sign-up. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your data (below).
Site information and drawings
Inspection records and drawings may describe your employer's or client's site. Before you use the app, make sure your site rules and contracts allow you to record this information and share it with AL-YASSIN.
Where it is stored
On your phone, in the app's own storage, and in AL-YASSIN's Google account (Google Sheets, Google Drive for drawings, and Gmail), which Google operates for us as a service provider. Google may store data on servers outside Saudi Arabia. Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and only authorised AL-YASSIN staff can access it.
Replies in the app
Our replies, quotations, inspection feedback and messages appear in the app's Inbox and are also emailed to you. The app collects them from our server using your random app ID, and keeps a copy on your phone so you can read them without signal.
Training interest (website)
If you register interest in a course at alyassinscaffold.com/training, we store your name, email or WhatsApp number, and anything else you choose to give: company, role, city, number of trainees, courses, language, format and message, with the date and a random install ID. We use it only to contact you about those courses. Nothing is shared or sold. To be removed, email us from the address or number you registered.
Practice exam certificates (website)
If you pass the practice exam at alyassinscaffold.com/exam and ask for a certificate, we store the name you type, your score, the date, the time taken, which topics you got right or wrong, a random install ID and, only if you give them, your company and email or mobile. We use this to issue the certificate and to let anyone holding its QR code or number confirm it at alyassinscaffold.com/verify. The verify page shows only the name, score, date and status. We count how often a certificate is checked. Company and contact details are used only to contact you about training. Exam attempts without a certificate stay on your device. To correct or delete a certificate, email us with its number.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with service providers that run our systems (Google), or where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you use the app and for up to 24 months after your last activity, then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your rights · delete your data
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, at any time.
- In the app: About → Delete my data. This wipes the data on your phone and sends us a deletion request.
- By email: write to sales@alyassinscaffold.com from the address you registered with, subject "Delete my data".
We delete your profile, records and drawings from our systems within 30 days and confirm by email, except anything the law requires us to keep.
Children
The app is a professional tool for the construction and industrial sector. It is not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date, and ask for your agreement again in the app if the change is significant.
